The Intake
During your initial consultation, your practitioner will go over your health history in depth. Your initial consultation can be done virtually or in-clinic. We encourage you to share any labs or any blood work that may be relevant during your initial consultation.
The TREATMENT
We create a customized treatment for you, using a range of Chinese medicinal therapies. Acupuncture and other modalities including moxa, gua sha, cupping and massage may be used. Herbs may also be paired with acupuncture to enhance your treatment.

We create your treatment plan to maximize both effectiveness and time. After your first treatment, you will have a clear idea of how many sessions you will have at Yinova, a customized herbal formula (if appropriate), nutritional and lifestyle advice and a realistic assessment of how we can help you.

As a medical clinic we cannot diagnose your medical condition or provide acupuncture cost estimates over the phone or email as we will not know the specifics of your case.
Frequently asked questions
Can I see the same practitioner for every treatment?
Absolutely! You can also see a different practitioner each week if that works better with your schedule. The Jade Seed team works collaboratively, so any practitioner you see will have access to your chart and will be fully informed about your case, enabling them to provide you with continuity of care.
How often will I need to come in for acupuncture before I see results?
Most of our patients see us weekly; however, each case is unique. Your practitioner will craft a clear treatment plan for you and will tell you how often you should have treatment. Everyone responds to treatment differently so your results will depend on your particular situation. There are certain issues that can be addressed in a visit or two; other cases might require more treatments until your goal is met. Your practitioner will be able to guide you on the results you can expect. Often, patients will notice relief from a specific symptom straight away, though we may need more time to work on the underlying root of the issue.
What are your prices for your services?

We offer treatments with our clinic director and founder, Dr. Lacey Dupré, at slightly higher rates. We also offer several packages and we have a Jade Seed Membership. You can see a full breakdown of our pricing here.
How do I cancel or reschedule my treatment?
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let the Front Desk know as soon as you can by phone or by emailing info@JadeSeedWellness.com. We do have a 48-hour cancellation policy, so appointments altered within 48 hours of the scheduled treatment time will result in a fee.
Do you accept insurance?
We are happy to provide you with a receipt that has the necessary coding for you to submit to your provider. We recommend checking with your insurance company to see if you are covered for out-of-network acupuncture and, if so, what specific conditions your insurance company covers acupuncture for. We do not process insurance in-house.
